A well-established, publicly listed UK consumer business, operating across the UK and Ireland, is searching for a Fractional Commercial Counsel to take real ownership of general commercial work within their in-house legal function. The role will take 3 days per week, and be based in the Milton Keynes office. You'll be trusted to act on your own judgement and shape how the business thinks about legal risk.
What you'll own:
- Commercial Contracts - Supplier agreements, agency arrangements, third-party deals - end to end.
- Marketing & Advertising - Campaigns, promotions, T&Cs, licensing and high-value sponsorship deals.
- Data Protection - UK & ROI compliance across the business and its franchise network.
- Franchise & Finance - Standard franchise support, banking arrangements and loan documentation.
- Brand & IP - Trademark and copyright enforcement, brand protection, reputational risk.
- Team Mentorship - Guiding junior Lawyers - building capability, not chasing a leadership title.
