Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior Property Litigation Solicitor to join one of the South East's most respected commercial law firms.
\nThis is a chance to become part of a well-established real estate disputes team with an outstanding reputation for the quality of its work and the strength of its client relationships. The team advises a broad mix of commercial clients, including established businesses, developers, investors, landlords, occupiers and private clients, handling a varied and interesting caseload across the full spectrum of property disputes.
\nThe work includes commercial landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, dilapidations, rent reviews, forfeiture and possession claims, development disputes, rights of way and restrictive covenant issues, boundary and ownership disputes, insolvency-related property matters, together with litigation in the County Court, High Court and specialist property tribunals. There is also regular involvement in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
\nFrom the outset, you'll benefit from genuine responsibility while working alongside experienced specialists in a collaborative environment. The team is well resourced, with dedicated support and a strong commitment to training, making it an excellent platform for a newly qualified Solicitor or someone with up to two years' post-qualification experience looking to accelerate their development.
\nThe firm is known for its supportive culture, approachable leadership and long-term investment in its people. Lawyers are encouraged to develop their own client relationships, work closely with colleagues across different practice areas and build their careers in an environment that values quality over hierarchy. Flexible hybrid working is well established, with a balanced approach to office and remote working.
\nApplications are welcomed from candidates with strong academic credentials and experience gained within a recognised commercial practice. A grounding in commercial landlord and tenant work would be advantageous, together with a genuine interest in property litigation, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
\nIn return, the successful candidate will join a highly regarded commercial practice offering excellent quality work, a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, flexible working and genuine long-term career progression within a stable and ambitious firm.
\nFor a confidential chat about this or other roles we are handling, please contact James Wheelhouse.
Please note that where a level of preferred experience or qualification is indicated, this is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.\n\nOur consultants will review your application and assess your suitability. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, however due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually and would advise that if you do not hear from us you should assume you are not successful in your application.
