Our client is looking to recruit an ambitious associate, with between 3-5 years' experience, to join the IP, Technology & Regulatory team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded lawyer to work at the crossroads of innovation, regulation and dispute resolution, advising leading businesses in fast-moving sectors such as retail, sport and technology.

Working closely with partners and senior colleagues, you will be exposed to high-quality, often high-profile work, supporting clients on complex legal issues which shape brands, products and business models. The team is collaborative, forward-thinking and recognised for delivering clear, strategic advice in challenging and evolving regulatory environments.

You will advise clients across a broad range of intellectual property, technology and regulatory matters, both contentious and non-contentious. This is an opportunity to develop your expertise, while working alongside experienced practitioners on sophisticated, commercially-focussed matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on intellectual property, technology and regulatory issues across contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Supporting work relating to brands, digital assets, technology arrangements and compliance matters
  • Assisting with disputes and investigations involving courts and regulatory bodies
  • Building strong client relationships through pragmatic, commercially-focused advice
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm on multi-disciplinary matters
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the practice through knowledge sharing and business development initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Qualified solicitor, with solid post-qualification experience in IP, technology, regulatory or disputes work
  • Strong technical legal foundations, combined with commercial insight
  • Interest in working with clients in innovative, consumer-facing or technology-driven sectors
  • Confidence managing matters and working effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate legal advice into practical outcomes
  • Proactive and curious mindset, with a genuine appetite to develop your practice.
