Our exceptional client law firm is seeking to hire a solicitor to join its highly regarded Commercial Real Estate team. The ideal candidate will have between 2 and 4 years' post-qualification experience gained at a leading City property team.
The key attractions for this position include a genuine work/life balance, with low chargeable hours, in comparison to the largest City firms, and genuine career prospects, whilst acting on premium City-level work. The role offers a varied workload with a primary focus on asset management and investment transactions.
Experience in asset management, sales and acquisitions, lettings (including conditional agreements for lease with or without works) and real estate finance is desirable. The successful candidate will work predominantly with an institutional client base across a range of sectors, including logistics and industrial assets, offices, hotels and research and development properties.
The position offers exposure to high-quality work, close client contact and the opportunity to broaden and develop technical expertise within a supportive team environment. The role sits within an established sub-team and involves working closely with senior lawyers, taking a lead role on transactions and dealing directly with key clients on a day-to-day basis.
Key client work includes acting for a UK multi-let industrial platform, a UK industrial technology and R&D platform, and a number of companies on a mix of transactional and asset management matters, including more complex and bespoke property arrangements. A key aspect of the role will be contributing to the long-term development of the team in ongoing business development initiatives.
You will be a lawyer with a stable career background at a major City law firm or a national law firm. You must have between two and four years' PQE (or very similar). This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a lawyer seeking a genuine alternative to the largest City law firms.
