Due to continued expansion in the education sector, there is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious Employment Solicitor to join their award-winning Education and Charities team.
This role is ideally based in the Gloucestershire office, though applications from candidates in Birmingham, or London are welcome, with some occasional travel to their Gloucestershire office will be required.
About the Team
Our client\'s nationally renowned Education and Charities team is deeply embedded in the sector. They advise over 400 educational institutions and work closely with key sector bodies on the evolving legal landscape affecting schools and colleges.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, pragmatic advice on a wide range of employment law matters within the education sector
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and maintain an up-to-date understanding of sector-specific legal issues
- Support cross-team collaboration and referrals, helping to grow the firm\'s client base
- Play an active role in business development activities and sector engagement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have
- 5+ years PQE with solid experience in employment law
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Excellent drafting and analytical abilities
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within a close-knit team
- A commercial mindset with a genuine interest in the education sector
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail
