Our client's London Employment team is continuing to grow and is accordingly looking to add an Employment associate with a minimum of 3 PQE. This is an opportunity to work alongside leading Employment lawyers on high-profile, complex and often business-critical matters for multinational corporates, major financial institutions and household-name organisations.
You will become part of a collaborative and highly regarded team, handling a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, including:
- Managing complex Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, including discrimination claims, whistleblowing matters, and breach of contract disputes
- Supporting large-scale restructuring projects, redundancies and TUPE matters in both UK and cross-border contexts
- Delivering practical, commercial employment advice via phone and email
- Mentoring and supporting trainees and paralegals as part of a team-focused culture
- Building client relationships through networking, seminars, training sessions and business development initiatives
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and training programmes
The suitable candidate will combine strong technical ability with commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset, together with the following:
- 3+ years' PQE in Employment law
- Experience advising multinational or commercial clients
- A strong background in tribunal claims and contentious employment matters
- Confidence handling complex legal issues with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
