We are currently instructed by a specialist boutique law firm operating within the projects and construction sector across the Middle East. The firm is seeking to engage a senior Construction Litigation Lawyer on a fully remote, consultancy basis.
This role is best suited to experienced lawyers qualified in England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction like Australia and/or New Zealand), with at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience and a strong track record gained within leading international or City law firms.
The position offers a flexible, non-exclusive consultancy arrangement, making it particularly attractive to lawyers already operating on a contract or portfolio basis. The firm can typically provide around 20 hours of work per week, with potential for this to increase over time depending on workflow.
The successful candidate will work on complex, high-value construction disputes, including pre-litigation and arbitration matters, with a Middle East focus. Prior experience advising clients across this region is essential.
Key requirements:- Qualification in England & Wales, Australia and/or New Zealand
- A minimum of 8 years’ PQE with a strong focus on construction litigation and arbitration
- Recent experience gained within a recognised international or City law firm
- Demonstrable experience handling disputes within the Middle East construction sector
