p strong u Corporate Lending Associate/Senior Associate. 6 Month Contract /u /strong /p p br /p p We have been instructed on a new requirement with a leading global law firm that is looking for an experienced Corporate Lending Lawyer to join its highly regarded banking practice on an initial 6-month contract. /p p br /p p The role is to start ASAP and will be based in London, operating on a hybrid basis with circa 3 days per week required in the office. /p p br /p p The successful lawyer will join a well-established finance practice and can expect exposure to a broad range of high-quality corporate lending transactions. Working closely with a Partner and the wider team, they will be involved across the lifecycle of financing transactions, from term sheet stage through to closing and post-closing. /p p br /p p Responsibilities are likely to include drafting and negotiating facility agreements and intercreditor agreements, negotiating security documentation, liaising with local counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters and coordinating transactions through to completion. /p p br /p p The firm is particularly interested in lawyers with strong corporate lending experience gained within notable city and/or international law firms. /p p br /p p em Applicants are likely to be able to demonstrate: /em /p ul li Qualification as a solicitor in England Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for example) /li li Upwards of 4 years post qualified experience /li li Strong corporate lending and general banking experience gained within a notable city or international law firm setting /li li Experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating facility agreements and other financing documentation /li li The ability to manage transactions from term sheet stage through to closing and post-closing /li li Experience of multi-jurisdictional financing transactions and coordinating with local counsel /li li Confidence negotiating with counterparties and leading transaction calls /li li Strong client-facing skills and a commercial, pragmatic approach /li li The ability to work effectively with Partners, associates and junior members of a wider banking and finance team /li li The capacity to start a new role immediately or at short notice /li /ul p br /p p This is a full-time, 6-month opportunity, with a competitive daily rate. /p p br /p p This would be a great opportunity for an experienced corporate lending lawyer looking to undertake high-quality transactional work within a leading international banking practice. /p
