A rare opportunity has arisen for a Partner or Partner-track LNG Lawyer to join a highly regarded international energy platform in London. The team is looking to add a senior Corporate/Commercial energy Lawyer with a particular focus on LNG sale and purchase agreements, gas marketing and broader cross-border LNG projects and transactions.

The practice already acts on a range of complex international energy mandates, but there is a clear strategic need for an additional senior Lawyer capable of leading and growing this offering from London. The ideal candidate is likely to have experience comparable to leading LNG practitioners in the market - advising sponsors, traders, utilities and energy majors on long-term SPAs, project development, joint ventures and related commercial arrangements across the LNG value chain.

International experience, particularly across Asia, the Middle East or other major LNG markets, would be especially attractive. The firm is open to speaking with established Partners as well as ambitious Counsel-level Lawyers seeking a supported path to Partnership. A modest following would be sufficient for the right individual, given the existing workflow and immediate demand within the practice.

To find out more about this role and others we are handling, please get in touch with David Von Dadelszen in complete confidence. Please note that where a level of preferred experience or qualification is indicated, this is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours; however, due to the volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually and would advise that if you do not hear from us you should assume you are not successful in your application.
