Our client's non-contentious Construction and Engineering team advises developers, financial institutions, landlords, tenants, purchasers, contractors and consultants, from a range of different industries. They have won a number of competitive mandates, in both the commercial real estate and engineering sector, and are accordingly now looking to enhance the offering by growing the team.

The suitable candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' non-contentious Construction and/or Engineering experience.

You will be a core member of the team and a key part of the next phase of growth, with considerable opportunity to grow your standing with the firm's clients and the wider industry. You will be involved in a variety of high-quality transactions across a range of sectors.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Familiarity with the different procurement options for Construction and Engineering projects and the full range of Construction documentation (including experience of working with the industry standard forms of contract, such as JCT, NEC and FIDIC, but not necessarily all of them).
  • Delivers legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
  • Supports the team to manage the client experience, develops trusted relationships and interacts with clients confidently.
  • Committed to business development to further grow their network and the practice-spotting opportunities and sharing these with the team in order to help build the practice.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in a team.
