An established national law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Lawyer to join its growing team in Berkshire. The practice is recognised for the strength of its commercial offering across the private, public and third sectors, advising a broad client base on complex and commercially significant matters.

The team undertakes a wide range of work spanning commercial agreements, technology and outsourcing arrangements, intellectual property matters, franchising, manufacturing contracts and data protection issues. Clients include organisations operating across sectors such as local government, education, healthcare and leisure, with the team valued for its practical and solutions-focused approach.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients from the outset, advising on high-quality matters and building strong commercial relationships. The successful candidate will be involved in drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts, supporting clients through strategic commercial projects and acting as a trusted extension of in-house legal teams.

The environment is collaborative, approachable and genuinely supportive, while still offering the quality of work and level of responsibility associated with a leading practice. Lawyers are encouraged to take ownership of their matters, develop their own client relationships and broaden both their technical and commercial skillset over time.

The firm is keen to hear from Solicitors with at least three years' PQE and a solid grounding in commercial law gained within a recognised regional or national practice. Experience advising on public sector or local government-related projects would be advantageous, although the team is equally interested in candidates with strong general commercial experience and the right mindset.

Successful applicants are likely to be commercially aware, technically capable and comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced but supportive setting. Strong drafting skills, sound judgement and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues alike will be important.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer seeking high-quality commercial work within a modern and well-balanced team environment, with flexible hybrid working as part of the firm's broader approach to working practices.
