We are currently working with a market-leading ALSP that is keen to speak with Employment Lawyers who would be available for secondment assignments of 6 months in duration. Experience gained within the Financial Services, Energy and/or Technology sectors would be of notable interest. This role is based in London on a hybrid working basis.
The successful individual will support on a broad range of employment law matters in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, advising on both contentious and non-contentious issues. The work is likely to include day-to-day advisory matters, employee relations issues, disciplinary and grievance processes, redundancy and restructuring matters, policy support, and employment aspects arising from wider business change projects.
This opportunity will be particularly well suited to Lawyers who have gained prior experience supporting clients within the Financial Services, Energy and/or Technology sectors, whether in-house or via secondee exposure from private practice.
Successful candidates are likely to be qualified in England & Wales and possess upwards of 6 years' PQE in handling a broad range of employment law matters. Prior in-house exposure, or experience working closely with commercial stakeholders within complex organisations across the Financial Services, Energy and/or Technology sectors, will be viewed favourably.
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, ideally, although those qualified within other commonwealth jurisdictions will also be considered
- Upwards of 6 years' PQE in handling a broad range of employment law matters
- Prior experience advising clients within the Financial Services, Energy and/or Technology sectors
- In-house or secondee experience would be beneficial
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment
- Availability to start a new role immediately or at short notice
