An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join the London office of a highly regarded commercial law firm with an established reputation for advising ambitious businesses, investors and management teams.

This is a senior appointment within a collaborative and growing practice, offering the chance to take on a visible role within the team while working closely with respected Partners on high-quality domestic and international transactions.

The corporate team advises across the full spectrum of corporate work, acting on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and exits, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder matters and broader corporate governance issues.

The client base is diverse, spanning entrepreneurial businesses, established corporates, investors and owner-managed companies across a range of sectors, ensuring a varied and commercially engaging workload.

In this senior role, you will take ownership of complex transactions from initial instruction through to completion, acting as a trusted adviser to clients and a key point of contact throughout the life of a matter.

Alongside leading negotiations, drafting and advising on sophisticated transaction documents, you will play an important role in supervising junior Lawyers, helping to develop talent within the team and maintaining the high standards of service for which the practice is recognised.

This position also offers genuine involvement in the continued growth of the corporate practice.

You will contribute to business development initiatives, strengthen existing client relationships, identify new opportunities and support the wider strategic direction of the team, while working within a culture that values collaboration, technical excellence and long-term client partnerships.

The successful candidate is likely to have significant experience advising on mid-market M&A and private equity transactions, together with strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills.

You will be confident managing complex matters, balancing commercial considerations with technical excellence, and comfortable building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Experience of supervising junior Lawyers is expected, while exposure to cross-border transactions, sector specialisms or corporate reorganisations would be advantageous but is by no means essential.

This is an opportunity for a senior corporate Lawyer looking to progress within a supportive and well-established environment where high-quality work, genuine responsibility and career development go hand in hand.

The role offers the platform to make a meaningful contribution to an ambitious practice while continuing to develop your own profile and expertise.
