Project Development Senior Associate - (7 PQE) - London

A sector-focused international law firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Energy & Projects team in London. Energy, infrastructure and transport are the firm's core business, and it's particularly well known for innovative financing on energy projects. This role is all about project development. You'll advise banks, private equity houses and sponsors on their investments in and acquisitions of energy and infrastructure assets, dealing with the financing, corporate, trading and commercial issues that come up along the way. A lot of the work is cross-border, and there's a strong international office network to work alongside. The team is collegiate, career paths are clear and flexible working is supported. The successful candidate is likely to have: At least 7 years' PQE, qualified in England & Wales; A background in a well-regarded banking & finance or projects practice; Solid experience of domestic and cross-border project development work, which is essential; Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills; and A positive, collaborative approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
