An established and entrepreneurial London law firm is seeking an ambitious Family Partner to lead and develop its family offering as part of an exciting new chapter in the firm's growth. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced family lawyer to take ownership of an existing platform whilst enjoying the autonomy, support and investment needed to build something genuinely significant over time.
The firm has a strong reputation across a range of private client and commercial disciplines, an impressive client base and a leadership team with ambitious plans for the future. Following a recent senior leadership transition, they are now looking to appoint a Family Partner who can shape the direction of the practice, drive growth and become a key figure within the wider business.
The role would suit an established Partner, Legal Director or senior family lawyer with a proven track record of advising on high-quality family matters, including financial remedy work, divorce, private children matters and broader private client relationship management. Existing referrals, business development credentials and the ability to generate work would be advantageous, although the firm is open-minded and willing to consider a range of backgrounds where there is a compelling business case.
What makes this opportunity particularly attractive is the flexibility on offer. The leadership team is focused on outcomes rather than presenteeism and is open to a variety of working arrangements. There is genuine scope to build a team around the successful individual, develop strategic relationships across the wider business and create a practice that reflects your own ambitions and vision.
The firm is also keen to speak with individuals who may have considered consultant, platform or alternative partnership models but who still value the support, infrastructure and collaborative culture that comes with being part of an established and growing practice. Remuneration is flexible and will reflect experience, following, business case and long-term potential. The firm is committed to attracting the right individual and is prepared to structure an attractive package accordingly.
