A long-established and highly regarded Birmingham law firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Private Client Solicitor, ideally at Partner level, as part of a carefully planned succession strategy. With a strong heritage and an excellent reputation across the region, the firm's Private Client team is widely respected for the quality of its advice and the depth of its client relationships. The team acts for high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners, providing trusted guidance across generations.
The firm is now looking to attract an experienced private wealth lawyer who can bring a broad, generalist private client skillset. The successful individual will have substantial experience advising on wills, trusts, estate and tax planning, probate, and wider succession planning. The ability to manage and further develop long-standing client relationships is essential, as is the credibility to contribute at a senior strategic level and support the firm's wider growth objectives.
This opportunity will suit an established Partner or a Senior Associate ready for partnership, who is seeking a platform within a stable, collegiate firm with a loyal client base and a clear long-term vision. There is genuine scope to shape the future direction of the Private Client practice and to play a key role in mentoring and developing the next generation of lawyers.
Requirements:- UK qualified solicitor
- Significant experience within a well-respected private wealth or private client team
- Proven track record of advising high-net-worth individuals and families
- Broad, generalist private client expertise
- Experience of cross-selling services and collaborating with other practice areas
- Demonstrably stable career history
- Experience managing, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
