Opportunity to join a highly regarded private client disputes practice. An established and well-respected Legal 500 firm in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Partner to join its Contentious Trusts & Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Lawyer looking to play a key role in a growing disputes practice with strong regional and national recognition.
The Role:
The successful candidate will handle a varied and high-quality caseload of private client disputes, acting for individuals, executors, trustees, and beneficiaries. Matters will include:
- Challenges to the validity of wills, including issues of capacity and undue influence
- Disputes involving executors and trustees, including breach of duty and maladministration
- Inheritance Act claims
- Estate administration disputes
- Proprietary estoppel and 'broken promise' claims
- Professional negligence claims arising from will drafting and estate planning
At Partner level, there is scope to contribute to strategic growth, business development, and team leadership. Senior Associates will be given a clear pathway to progression and increased responsibility.
