Job Description
Competition & Antitrust (3–6 PQE), London
Jameson Legal is instructed on a new Competition role with one of our City firm clients, to work on a broad spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Its leading Competition & Antitrust practice advises clients across the full gamut of Competition and Antitrust matters, working on some of the largest cartel investigations, major transactions and complex Competition Litigation cases, as well as advising on abuse of dominance, commercial agreements and compliance issues.
The team focuses primarily on UK matters, including CMA and NSIA work and Competition Litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the High Court. The team also regularly advises on EU and cross-border matters, working closely with international colleagues.
You will be exposed to high-quality, market-leading work, across a range of areas, including:
• Investigations and complaints, including cartel matters
• Compliance advice, including competition compliance programmes
• Merger control, joint ventures and foreign direct investment
• Antitrust and competition advisory work
• Advising on commercial agreements and arrangements
• Competition litigation
• Advisory work, including abuse of dominance.
The successful candidate will have:
• A strong academic background
• Experience and/or a strong interest in Competition Litigation
• Enthusiasm for marketing and business development activities
• The ability to work effectively within a team and support the development of junior lawyers.
