Associate Solicitor

FinTech & Structured Finance, London

Our City law firm client is looking to bring on board a Finance associate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join the market-leading FinTech and Structured Finance team, working closely with the Partners.

The role involves advising UK and European FinTech lending platforms, challenger banks and credit funds, supporting both established businesses and high-growth market entrants.

This opportunity suits a lawyer with experience in banking and finance, structured finance, DCM, real estate finance or asset finance, who is looking to broaden their skill set within a technology-driven financial services environment.

Work is split between:

• Product-side advice, helping FinTech platforms structure and document consumer and SME lending products.

• Funding-side work, including warehouse facilities (LMA-based) and private securitisations.

This is a client-facing role, offering exposure to leading FinTech brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and structuring corporate and consumer lending documentation

• Preparing security documentation

• Advising on the regulatory and commercial structuring of lending platforms

• Structuring and documenting debt issuances and wholesale funding lines

• Working collaboratively across teams on complex transactions.
