If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.

A highly regarded specialist disputes practice in London is seeking an ambitious Solicitor with 4-7 years' PQE to join its growing professional indemnity and insurance litigation team. The practice acts for insurer clients and regulated professionals across a broad range of complex disputes, including claims involving legal professionals, financial advisers, insurance intermediaries and other regulated businesses. The team is instructed on high-value and technically challenging matters and offers significantly greater responsibility than is typically available within larger institutional practices.

This opportunity would suit a Lawyer currently working within:

  • Professional indemnity
  • Insurance litigation
  • Commercial litigation with professional negligence exposure
  • Financial services disputes

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Run your own caseload with Partner support
  • Develop direct insurer and client relationships
  • Handle High Court litigation
  • Advise on coverage and indemnity issues
  • Work on claims involving financial services, legal services and other regulated sectors
  • Gain meaningful advocacy and mediation exposure

You are likely to have:

  • 4-7 years' PQE
  • Experience in professional negligence and/or insurance litigation
  • Strong technical and drafting ability
  • Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
  • Ambition to accelerate your development within a growing specialist team

Construction professional indemnity experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Why Consider This Role? Unlike many larger insurance practices, this team offers:

  • Genuine responsibility from day one
  • Direct access to decision-makers
  • Complex litigated work rather than process-driven claims handling
  • A collaborative and entrepreneurial culture
  • Clear progression opportunities
