Job Description Our client is a market leading law firm looking to recruit an NQ-2 PQE Associate into its Surrey based construction team. The role is focused principally on non-contentious construction work and offers exposure to a broad mix of development, regeneration, real estate and infrastructure matters, including selected international projects.
The role
The associate will work with clients across the construction and development market, including owners, investors, developers, funders, contractors, consultants and public-sector bodies. The work is varied and begins at the planning and procurement stage, continuing through the drafting and negotiation of project documentation and advice on issues arising during live schemes.
drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments and development-related documents;
advising on standard forms including JCT, NEC and EPC arrangements, alongside bespoke project documentation;
supporting development, regeneration, accommodation, healthcare, energy and infrastructure projects;
