A new opportunity has come up for a SQL Server Developer to join a growing legal software consultancy. This is a permanent position based in London.
This is a hands-on development and troubleshooting role and requires somebody that has worked across a range of database environments and can get up to speed quickly.
- Designing and maintaining T-SQL stored procedures.
- Providing troubleshooting support across a range of priorities.
- Investigating and resolving database performance issues.
- Indexing strategy, query optimisation and locking and blocking.
- Reading and interpreting execution plans to identify and resolve performance plans.
Skills and experience required:
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL Server.
- Demonstrable experience working inside a large, mature schema.
- Proven experience of becoming productive and getting up to speed quickly.
- A background in legal or another highly regulated environment would be beneficial.
- Hands-on development and tuning on Azure SQL Database.
