We’re working with a fast-growing legal tech business that’s redefining how professional services firms use technology. As they scale in the UK, they’re looking for a confident, client-facing Pre-Sales Engineer who loves showing great software to real people. This role is perfect for someone who’s genuinely good at demoing solutions, can translate technical capability into business value and enjoys working closely with both clients and internal teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the technical side of the sales cycle including discovery, solution design, demos and RFPs
- Configuring the system to deliver tailored, high-impact demonstrations that address client pain points
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to prospective clients, from first conversation through to decision
- Collaborating closely with sales, product and engineering to ensure client needs are clearly understood and well represented
- Helping qualify opportunities, identify risks and shape the right solution early
- Contributing to sales collateral, technical documentation and internal enablement materials
What we’re looking for:
- 2-3+ years experience in pre-sales, sales engineering or a consultative technical role within B2B SaaS or enterprise software (legal tech would be a bonus)
- Someone who is genuinely strong at live demos and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sales, product and engineering
- Hands-on experience with system configuration and solution design
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Python or SQL experience would be useful but not essential
- Self-motivated, curious and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
Why this role:
You’ll be joining a business with strong momentum, a modern cloud-based platform and big ambitions. Your work will directly influence deals, product direction and client success, not just sit in the background. If you enjoy being front and centre with clients, shaping solutions and making technology come alive through great demos, this one’s worth a conversation. There is a competitive base salary, bonus and benefits package on offer as well as excellent scope to progress your career. Candidates for this role need to have the right to work in the UK as the hiring company are unable to offer any form of visa sponsorship.
