Accounts Manager, London
A leading, London based law firm is looking to hire an accounts manager on a permanent basis. This is a fully office-based role and the main responsibilities include implementing office accounts and invoicing procedures and ensuring that accounts ledgers are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Producing month end and management accounts reporting.
- Taking responsibility for VAT returns.
- Preparing annual accounts and accountant’s reports.
- Supervising accounts assistants.
- Dealing with queries and resolving problems.
- Providing a high standard of service at all times.
- Assisting with general administration duties.
- Managing credit control and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinating the outsourced payroll functions.
- Staying up to date on any changes to solicitors accounts rules and the law.
Experience and skills:
- Dealing with accounts within a law firm.
- Knowledge of case management systems.
- Previous experience in a Lexcel accredited firm.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Understanding of solicitors accounts rules, VAT and regulatory obligations.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
This is a fully office-based role.
