We are working with a well-regarded London law firm looking to appoint a 4–6 PQE Property Litigation Associate into its established disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer seeking high-quality work, genuine responsibility, and close exposure to experienced Partners within a supportive and collegiate environment. The role offers a broad caseload, strong client contact, and the chance to play a visible part in the continued growth of the practice.

The Role: You will manage a varied caseload spanning both commercial and residential property disputes, with work including:

  • Landlord and tenant disputes (commercial and residential)
  • Lease renewals and related statutory matters
  • Dilapidations and service charge disputes
  • Possession and forfeiture proceedings
  • Property-related insolvency and lender-side matters
  • Boundary disputes, rights of way, and restrictive covenant issues
  • Breach of covenant and contractual disputes
  • Professional negligence claims arising from property matters

You will take ownership of matters from initial instruction through to resolution, including drafting pleadings, managing evidence, liaising with counsel, and attending hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions. The role also involves regular direct client contact, advising on strategy, and building long-term relationships. There will be opportunities to support and mentor junior Lawyers, as well as contribute to business development and wider team initiatives.

About You: Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, with 4–6 years’ PQE in property litigation. Strong technical grounding, ideally gained within a well-regarded City, national or regional firm. Experience managing a busy and varied caseload with a good degree of autonomy. Exposure to both commercial and residential property disputes (with flexibility to build further experience in either). Confident handling matters through the courts and familiar with relevant procedures and forums. Strong drafting, analytical, and organisational skills. Commercially minded, pragmatic, and client-focused in approach. A collaborative team player, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

This is a strong opportunity for a property litigation Lawyer looking to step into a role offering high-quality work, meaningful client exposure, and a clear platform for continued development within a well-established London team.
