Projects Lawyer β Remote Consultancy (8+ PQE)
We are currently instructed by a specialist boutique law firm with a strong reputation for advising on complex projects across the Middle East. The firm is seeking to engage with an experienced Projects Lawyer on a fully remote, consultancy basis, starting immediately.
The successful consultants will advise on a broad range of high-value and strategically important projects across the energy and natural resources, construction, infrastructure, technology, aviation, defence and transport sectors. Lawyers with experience advising on projects and/or clients across the Middle East will be of particular interest.
This opportunity is best suited to experienced Lawyers qualified in England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction such as Australia or New Zealand), with at least 8 years' post-qualification experience and a strong track record gained within leading international or City law firms.
The position offers a flexible, non-exclusive consultancy arrangement, making it particularly attractive to Lawyers already operating on a contract or portfolio basis.
Key requirements:
- Qualification in England & Wales
- Recent experience gained within a recognised international or City law firm
- A minimum of 8 years' PQE advising on complex domestic and international projects.
- Strong experience across one or more of the energy and natural resources, construction, infrastructure, technology, aviation, defence and/or transport sectors.
- Demonstrable experience advising on PPP/PFI projects, EPC contracts, O&M agreements and offtake agreements.
- Experience advising on projects and/or clients across the Middle East.
- Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and the confidence to work autonomously.
- Immediate availability to undertake consultancy work on a flexible, consultancy basis.
