A leading specialist disputes firm is looking to recruit a strong junior criminal litigation Solicitor to assist with their growing private prosecutions practice in London. Private prosecutions remain a relatively niche area of the market, making this an excellent opportunity for a junior criminal litigation Solicitor to develop specialist expertise while working on a significant, high-profile fraud matter.
Joining a specialist London team, you will play a central role in preparing a substantial private prosecution arising from an alleged tax fraud, with further work in this area already on the horizon. Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will be heavily involved in drafting, evidence gathering and forensic case analysis, helping to build complex cases from the ground up.
This is a role for someone who enjoys the detail of criminal litigation and takes pride in producing meticulous, well-prepared cases for court. Applications are sought from England & Wales-qualified Solicitors with around 1-3 years’ PQE and a solid grounding in criminal litigation.
You will have experience preparing and progressing cases through the criminal courts, ideally involving fraud or other financial crime, and possess the analytical ability, attention to detail and sound judgement needed to work on sophisticated private prosecutions.
Offering close mentoring, early responsibility and exposure to complex, high-value matters, this is a rare opportunity to establish yourself in an evolving and intellectually stimulating area of criminal practice.
