A leading international firm is looking to add a cyber-focused associate to its well-established insurance and reinsurance practice in London. This is a team acting across the market — not tied to a single insurer — which translates into broader exposure, more varied instructions and a more commercial, outward-facing role. The focus is firmly on cyber. You will be advising on live incident response, complex coverage questions and related disputes, often under time pressure and with significant client visibility. The work is high-profile and fast-moving, sitting at the intersection of technology, risk and legal analysis.

Alongside the quality of work, the team offers a genuinely supportive and collaborative environment. Associates are given early responsibility, direct client access and a clear path to developing a recognised profile in this rapidly evolving space. The group is also investing in AI and technology in a meaningful way, both in terms of client delivery and internal capability.

Candidates should have:

  • At least 2 years’ PQE with a strong grounding in insurance, disputes or related areas;
  • Demonstrable experience in cyber matters, whether incident response, coverage or related disputes;
  • Strong technical and drafting skills, combined with sound commercial judgement;
  • The confidence to engage directly with clients and handle fast-moving matters;
  • An interest in the role of technology and AI in legal services delivery.

This is a team with real momentum, offering high-quality work, strong support and the opportunity to build a genuine specialism in cyber within a leading international platform.
