Our client is a global legal technology business operating one of the most established cloud-based law firm management platforms in the market. In the UK they are outpacing the sector and their trajectory shows no sign of slowing. Their platform is trusted by midsize and larger law firms to connect, organise and automate everything from matter and document management to billing, accounting and client communications.

Due to the growth trajectory they’re on, they’re looking for an Account Executive, a strong new logo hunter, to join the team in London to help drive new revenue. The role calls for a consultative approach. Their customers have genuine, complex pain points and they need a partner who will listen, understand and demonstrate real value – not someone who wins business through pressure and volume. If that distinction matters to you, you are in the right place.

What you will do:

This is a full 360 sales role. You will be responsible for growing the UK customer base: identifying the right firms, building trusted relationships at all levels and guiding prospects through a considered sales process that leads to long-term partnerships. This includes outbound prospecting, managing a pipeline, delivering compelling demonstrations and meeting ambitious but realistic targets. You will develop deep knowledge of the platform, becoming the kind of expert a prospective client genuinely wants to speak with and use Salesforce CRM to track and manage your activity.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years in SaaS legal tech sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrable experience of running multi stakeholder sales processes
  • A strong working knowledge of the legal sector – practice management software experience is a huge plus
  • Demonstrable experience selling into law firms at senior and operational levels
  • Strong ability to assess customer needs and build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Strong technical aptitude with the desire to become deeply fluent in the product
  • Ability to research, identify, qualify, progress and close opportunities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • High energy, positive attitude and strong presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You must be based in the UK, ideally in London or the South East. Candidates need to have the right to work in the UK as the hiring company are unable to offer visa sponsorship. The company are offering a very competitive base salary and double OTE, excellent benefits package and a good platform to progress your career.

How to prepare for a job interview at Jameson Legal

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Jameson Legal uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
