We are looking for an experienced senior Compliance officer to work on an interim basis for 3-6 months, with a rate of around 550-650 per day. In this role, you will be working for a consultancy that collaborates closely with industry and construction clients. You will review the existing programme and work with the Legal Director as they implement a new firm structure.
The Senior Corporate Compliance officer is primarily responsible for overseeing compliance within the organisation, ensuring adherence to laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Additionally, this role oversees the group’s global data privacy and governance functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, guiding, and monitoring the group’s commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance globally.
- Playing a lead role in developing and implementing a framework of corporate governance, data privacy, and compliance across the Group.
- Partnering with the Legal Director to operate and maintain the firm’s management system.
- Driving compliance and preserving legal and ethical standards within the organisation during the transition to a new structure.
- Providing a primary escalation point for all corporate compliance matters.
- Supporting the firm in its operational objectives and meeting its obligations and standards globally.
- Ensuring and maintaining alignment of the firm’s policies.
