The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 Β£ per year.

We are very interested in speaking with experienced Public Procurement Lawyers who are immediately available for a 4-6 month assignment with a public utilities company, via a market leading ALSP.

The successful lawyer will be expected to advise on public procurement law requirements, the regulatory landscape and carry out regulation assessments. They will work on RfP tender documents and advise the business on how public procurement processes, rules and procedural requirements are different to the private sector. They will also play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the legal and procurement teams.

The successful public procurement lawyer will report into the Head of Legal and will be embedded into the procurement team.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Qualification in England & Wales
  • Upwards of 7 years’ PQE
  • Specialist knowledge in public procurement matters
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
  • A willingness to strengthen relationships between the legal and procurement teams
  • An ability to spend one day a week in the office in the Midlands
  • Capacity to start a new role immediately or at very short notice
