About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner with strong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Fanuc controls to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes using Mazatrol/Fanuc controls.
- Edit and create CNC programs as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and job instructions.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Monitor production runs and make adjustments to maintain tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
- Identify and resolve machining issues to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Four Day working week.
