This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven chef with a strong background in banqueting and events catering, looking to develop their career within a high-quality hospitality environment. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food across a variety of weddings, private functions, corporate events and special occasions. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the banqueting kitchen. Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen brigade, ensuring consistently high standards. Oversee food preparation and service for weddings, conferences, banquets and large-scale events. Ensure all dishes are delivered to the highest standards of quality, presentation and consistency. Manage food ordering, stock control and minimise wastage. Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards. Work closely with the wider events and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service. Support menu development and contribute creative ideas for seasonal and event menus. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within a quality hotel, resort or events-led operation. Strong banqueting and large-volume catering experience is essential. Confident leading and motivating a kitchen team. MUST be able to drive due to location Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure. Passionate about food quality, presentation and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings.
