Banqueting Sous Chef Luxury 4-Star Resort | Warwickshire £37,829 base salary | £40,125 including tronc Relocation support for up to 3 months' accommodation on site Are you an experienced Banqueting Sous Chef who thrives in a high-volume environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a resilient, hands-on chef to join the banqueting operation at a luxury 4-star resort in Warwickshire. This is a substantial operation, with up to 7 events running at the same time , including large-scale dinners, weddings and conferences. The resort's largest space caters for up to 600 guests for a sit-down dinner and has its own dedicated banqueting kitchen. Alongside this, you'll work across a central banqueting kitchen with multiple satellite kitchens , supporting a large and experienced culinary team. The Role Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you'll help lead the banqueting operation, ensuring food is prepared and delivered to a consistently high standard across multiple events. You'll be someone who can: Lead and support a large kitchen brigade in a high-volume resort environment. Coordinate multiple events and kitchens running simultaneously. Think on your feet and remain calm when the pressure is on. Maintain standards, organisation and service throughout busy operations. Develop and support the team through coaching, training and hands-on leadership. Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and events teams. About You This role would suit an experienced Banqueting Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef wi th a background in a large resort, high-volume hotel or cruise ship operation . You'll need the experience to manage volume, lead a sizeable team and handle the demands of a busy events calendar.
