Role Purpose
This role is central to building new revenue streams beyond our venues by securing high-value contracts in luxury catering for corporate events, weddings, private parties, private jet services, and special occasions. You will lead proactive sales efforts, shape bespoke menus and service packages, and work cross-functionally with our culinary and operations teams to deliver exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales – Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities in corporate catering contracts, private jet and aviation catering, high-end private events and weddings, luxury concierge and VIP experiences. Develop strategic partnerships with corporate clients, luxury travel firms, event planners, and UHNWIs. Present compelling proposals, lead pitches, and negotiate high-value contracts aligned with business targets.
- Menu & Service Development – Collaborate with Executive Chefs and Operations to create bespoke menus, tailored service packages, and customised experiences for off-site events and catering. Ensure offerings reflect the brand\’s culinary standards and luxury positioning. Design flexible packages for varying scales of events – from intimate private dinners to large-scale corporate receptions.
- Market Intelligence & Metrics – Monitor and analyse business development KPIs, sales funnel progression, and conversion rates. Use insights to refine strategy, pricing models, and client targeting. Identify emerging trends in luxury hospitality, catering, and event services.
- Relationship Building – Nurture and grow a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring long-term loyalty and repeat business. Attend and represent the brand at networking events, hospitality showcases, and industry exhibitions.
Key Requirements
- Experience – Minimum 3 years in business development or sales within premium hospitality in restaurants or hotels, luxury catering, or event management. Track record of winning and managing complex, high-value contracts. Experience developing bespoke service or food offerings in collaboration with culinary teams. Understands the London market.
- Flexible in working hours.
- Skills – Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Commercially savvy with the ability to assess opportunities, price services effectively, and drive profitability. Strong understanding of event logistics, catering operations, and client service expectations at a luxury level. Creative thinker with the ability to translate client visions into tangible experiences.
- Personal Attributes – Highly proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven. Personable, with natural gravitas in high-end client environments. Strong attention to detail with a flair for luxury aesthetics and experience delivery.
