Are you a strategic and hands-on sales manager with a passion for live events and client relationships? We\’re working with a well-established and versatile UK event venue known for hosting everything from high-profile corporate functions to cultural showcases and private celebrations.

We\’re on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Manager who can lead the sales function, drive commercial growth, and elevate the venue\’s profile across diverse markets.

The Sales Manager Package

  • A basic salary of £39\’500
  • Bonus scheme to be discussed

The role

As Sales Manager, you\’ll be responsible for leading the venue\’s sales strategy – generating new business, nurturing key accounts, and working closely with marketing and operations to ensure seamless client delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to increase bookings across corporate, private, and public event sectors
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent revenue growth
  • Lead on client pitches, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Oversee key accounts and provide exceptional client service
  • Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to align on product offering and campaigns
  • Report on KPIs and provide insights to senior management
  • Represent the venue at industry networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in sales within the events, hospitality, or venue management sector
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales cycles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven with a track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple client relationships
  • Confident, personable, and passionate about events
  • Comfortable working across diverse clients – from global brands to local community organisers
