The Venue:
Set in the heart of breathtaking surroundings, this property is set to become an exclusive dining destination that offers a truly exceptional experience. Open for service from Wednesday evening through to Sunday Lunch, With a 65-cover restaurant and 25-cover bar, serving fresh, locally sourced food in an atmosphere that's both intimate and inviting, committed to creating memorable experiences for their guests, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to join the growing team.
The Role:
As the Restaurant and Bar Manager , you will be the face of the business, overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of both the restaurant and bar. You will lead by example, ensuring impeccable service standards while nurturing a team that shares your passion for exceptional food and drink.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Management: Overseeing a small but dedicated team, ensuring excellent customer service and fostering a positive working environment. As the business grows, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and expand the team.
- Food & Beverage Excellence: You'll have a genuine passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients, ideally with a 2 to 3 rosette background, you will be collaborating closely with the kitchen team that showcase the best of local produce.
- Wine Expertise: You will have a deep passion for wine, with a sound understanding of wine pairings. Ideally, you will hold a WSET Level 2 qualification (or similar) to confidently advise guests and manage our wine list.
- Guest Experience: As the face of the business, you will ensure each guest has a seamless and memorable experience, from the moment they walk in the door until their departure.
- Operations & Stock Management: You will manage stock levels, suppliers, ordering, and ensure that our restaurant and bar operations run smoothly, efficiently, and within budget.

- WSET Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and a love for all things wine.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to connect with guests and staff alike.
- Strong organisational and operational skills to manage both the restaurant and bar effectively.
