We are currently recruiting a dynamic and proactive Sales Manager - MICE to target corporate group business across two renowned 5-star hotels in Mayfair. This role demands a strategic self-starter who understands the London luxury hospitality landscape and can build strong relationships with corporate MICE clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, converting, and managing new corporate MICE accounts, with a particular focus on high-yield opportunities. Regular travel within the UK for trade shows, sales missions, and client meetings is a core part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Sales & Business Development
  • Actively identify and secure new MICE business from corporate clients, including finance, legal, consultancy, and global brands.
  • Prospect new opportunities via client meetings, cold calls, networking, and industry events.
  • Represent both hotels at domestic and international MICE trade shows and exhibitions (e.g. IMEX, IBTM, The Meetings Show).
  • Build strong partnerships with event planners, DMCs, and PCOs.
  • Leverage knowledge of the London corporate market to grow market share and revenue.
  • Account Management
  • Manage a portfolio of MICE accounts, ensuring relationship development, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
  • Plan and host site inspections, FAM trips, and client entertainment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Events, Revenue, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution and brand alignment.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline updates in CRM systems.

Candidate Profile:

  • Essential:
  • Minimum 2/3 years in proactive MICE sales within the luxury London hotel market.
  • Be able to work within a small team and individually.
  • Strong network and understanding of the corporate MICE landscape in London.
  • Be able to build strong relationships and follow through with leads.
  • Confident in face-to-face sales, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business.
  • MUST be willing to travel.
  • Working closely with the Director Of Sales & MD.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly, including overnight and national trips.
  • Good knowledge of the London Market.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple priorities.
  • CRM proficient (e.g., Delphi.fdc, Opera, Salesforce).
  • Desirable:
  • Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • Multi-property proactive sales experience within hotels.
  • Fluency in additional language(s).
  • Familiarity with UHNW clientele and luxury service standards.
