Our client is a fast-growing hospitality and retail company with a strong presence across London and the South East. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead our brand strategy, customer engagement, and multi-channel marketing activity from our Croydon headquarters.

The Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, footfall, and revenue growth across our hospitality and retail operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives
  • Lead brand positioning, campaign planning, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Manage digital marketing activity including social media, paid advertising, SEO, email marketing, and content creation
  • Drive local marketing campaigns to increase venue traffic and customer retention
  • Analyse customer insights, market trends, and campaign performance to optimise ROI
  • Oversee PR, partnerships, events, and influencer collaborations
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team and external agencies
  • Work closely with operations, sales, and commercial teams to support business performance
  • Control and manage the annual marketing budget

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role within hospitality, retail or consumer-facing sectors
  • Strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Commercially focused with a track record of delivering measurable growth
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical ability
  • Experience managing multi-site or multi-brand marketing campaigns is highly desirable
