The Role:
As Health Club Manager, you'll be at the heart of the club's transformation - recruiting and leading a brand-new team, delivering exceptional member experiences, and ensuring the club operates to the highest standards from launch and beyond. You'll be responsible for:
- Building your team - hiring and training Leisure Attendants, Therapists, and Membership Sales staff
- Driving growth - managing memberships, spa treatments, wellness offerings, and more
- Leading by example - delivering top-tier service and coaching your team to do the same
- Supporting the wider hotel team, including acting as Duty Manager during key shifts
What We're Looking For:
- Previous Health Club or Spa Management experience, ideally in a hotel or resort environment
- A solid grasp of pool plant operations and compliance - Pool Plant certification is a must
- Hands-on leadership style with a passion for health, fitness, and wellbeing
- Experience in sales and marketing to drive membership growth and engagement
- Strong organisational and people management skills
- A customer-first approach and confidence communicating across all channels
- Commercial acumen - confident with budgets, stock, rotas, and cost controls
- Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days including some weekends and evenings
