I am delighted to be working with a unique hotel, a short drive from Leeds and Bradford, recruiting for an experienced Spa Manager. A modern, relaxed hotel set in beautiful Parkland with a stunning Restaurant, cosy bar and extensive Spa facilities where the team takes pride in delivering a glorious throng of therapy and relaxation spaces to enthrall and stimulate the senses in the most luxurious surroundings.
As Spa Manager, you will be part of a luxury hotel group who have recently revamped and refurbished the Spa, to oversee a team of therapists and management of the busy treatment room spa operation. We need a hands-on Spa Manager who can work with the small team to deliver treatments as required as well as focus on the daily running of the Spa. This will include driving all revenues including the Leisure Club membership for the gym as this needs to grow. Spa Days and Spa Weekends are also popular and need someone who can drive the business forward and create strategy & incentives.
The Essential Skills:
- You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of supervising and managing a team within a hotel leisure & Spa environment
- Must have experience of managing the sales & marketing aspect of a leisure club operation
- Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills both face to face, on the telephone & via email
- Ability to motivate & develop team members and to work as a team
- Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets
- Must be self-driven, willing to be 'hands-on' at all times and possess a passion for the leisure industry generally
- The role will be 5 days out of 7, including some weekend work
