Our client is seeking a commercially driven and analytically minded Revenue & Commercial Manager to join our growing hotel group in East Sussex areas. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue performance, optimising pricing strategies, and maximising overall profitability across our property/properties. You will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy, working closely with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver sustained revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximise RevPAR, TRevPAR, and ADR performance.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to inform pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning processes.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and total revenue across all segments.
  • Optimise distribution channels, including OTAs, direct booking platforms, and corporate partnerships.
  • Produce regular performance reports and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities across rooms, F&B, events, and ancillary services.
  • Ensure best practices in revenue management systems and tools.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Revenue or Commercial Manager role within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong background in hotel revenue management is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrable expertise in RevPAR, TRevPAR, ADR, and overall commercial performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with revenue management systems and distribution platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

Desirable

  • Multi-property or group hotel experience.
  • Experience working in independent or branded hotel environments.
  • Knowledge of the East Sussex or wider UK hospitality market.
