Head Chef - Quality Hotel with Numerous Events - Up To 55k + Benefits - Farnham Hampshire Areas
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an experienced and talented Head Chef for a quality hotel in the Farnham, Hampshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen operation, delivering exceptional food across all areas of the hotel, including restaurant, bar, private dining and conference and banqueting.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel catering, with proven experience managing conference and banqueting operations, weddings, functions and large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen operation.
Lead, motivate and develop a professional brigade, ensuring consistently high standards.
Oversee all food preparation, production and presentation across the hotel.
Manage conference and banqueting operations, including weddings, corporate events and private functions.
Create exciting menus that reflect the hotel's quality and standards.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
Manage food costs, GP, stock control, ordering and kitchen budgets.
Work closely with the wider hotel management team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Ensure staffing levels, rotas and kitchen resources are managed effectively.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Head Chef or an established Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
Strong hotel background within a quality 4-star or comparable operation.
Essential: Proven conference and banqueting experience, including large functions, weddings and events.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
MUST be able to drive due to location
Commercially aware, with a good understanding of food GP and kitchen budgets.
Creative, organised and passionate about delivering outstanding food.
Ability to thrive in a busy hotel environment while maintaining exceptional standards.
Salary & Benefits
