We’re working with a bold, fast-growing lifestyle hotel brand to recruit a commercially sharp Financial Controller for one of their flagship London properties. This is not your typical hotel finance role. This is high-energy, fast-paced hospitality — where the Financial Controller is right at the heart of the operation, driving performance, influencing decisions, and shaping the commercial direction of the hotel.
The Role – Financial Controller (Hotel)
As Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the hotel’s finance function, working closely with the General Manager and senior team. You’ll be visible, hands-on, and commercially focused — ensuring the hotel delivers on revenue, profit, and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver monthly management accounts and hotel reporting
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Oversee payroll, credit control, and purchase ledger
- Partner with the GM and HODs to improve profitability and cost control
- Lead on audit, compliance, and financial governance
- Analyse performance and implement cost-saving and revenue-driving initiatives
- Support wider group finance projects and brand growth
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Financial Controller experience within hotels or hospitality
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong commercial mindset — you understand how hotels make money
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Confident communicator who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in driving change, improving processes, and adding value
