An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Director to lead the sales and marketing strategy for a prestigious luxury hotel. This is a key leadership role for a commercially driven Sales Director who can drive revenue growth, expand market share and position the property as a leading destination within the luxury hospitality sector.
The successful Sales Director will oversee the proactive Sales and Marketing teams, shaping commercial strategy, developing key partnerships and delivering strong revenue performance across domestic and international markets.
As Sales Director, you will take full responsibility for the hotel’s commercial strategy, driving revenue through proactive sales leadership, strategic partnerships and strong market positioning. You will lead and inspire the Sales and Marketing teams, develop key accounts and identify new business opportunities across the luxury leisure, corporate, travel trade and international markets. This role also offers the opportunity for international travel, attending global networking events and building relationships with key luxury travel partners including travel trade agents, luxury consortia and partners such as American Express (AMEX), Virtuoso and other high-end travel networks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the hotel’s commercial strategy
- Lead the Sales and Marketing teams to exceed revenue targets
- Drive new business development across UK and international luxury travel markets
- Build relationships with travel trade partners, luxury agencies and consortia
- Manage key accounts and strategic client partnerships
- Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams
- Lead brand positioning, marketing campaigns and digital strategy
- Monitor commercial performance, forecasting and budgets
- Represent the hotel at international travel trade and industry events
