Hotel General Manager – Liverpool

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £70,000–£85,000 + Bonus + Benefits

James Webber Recruitment are recruiting a Hotel General Manager for a high-profile Liverpool hotel. We’re seeking a visible, results-driven leader who can elevate guest experience, sharpen commercial performance, and inspire a high-performing team across Rooms, F&B, Meetings & Events, and Front Office.

The Opportunity

  • Lead overall hotel operations and culture, delivering five-star service standards.
  • Own the P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI delivery (RevPAR, GOP, NPS).
  • Drive sales mix, pricing, and channel strategy with Revenue & Sales teams.
  • Champion F&B quality, M&E conversion, and brand standards.
  • Ensure full H&S, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop HODs; build succession and engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven Hotel General Manager (or strong No.2 ready to step up) within branded or quality independent hotels.
  • Track record improving guest satisfaction and profitability in city hotels.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and confident with data-led decisions.
  • Hands-on, empathetic leader; excellent stakeholder and owner relations.
  • Strong background across Rooms and F&B, with M&E exposure.
