JWR is delighted to be recruiting a Cluster Financial Controller for a prestigious and growing luxury hotel group with an impressive portfolio of properties across London and the UK. This is a senior, commercially focused finance position within a well-established, privately owned hospitality business currently undergoing significant investment and growth. The portfolio includes several high-profile luxury hotels, with further development and substantial capital investment planned.
The Role
- Reporting to the senior finance leadership team, the Cluster Financial Controller will take responsibility for financial performance across the hotel portfolio, partnering closely with General Managers and operational leadership.
- Driving financial and commercial performance across multiple hotels.
- Business partnering with General Managers and senior operational teams.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planning.
- Overseeing management accounts, KPIs and senior management reporting.
- Supporting CAPEX projects, investment appraisals and business cases.
- Maintaining robust financial controls, governance and compliance.
- Working with both directly operated and internationally branded hotels.
- Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary hotel finance team.
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance.
The Candidate
- We are seeking an accomplished hotel finance professional who combines strong financial control with genuine commercial awareness.
- Senior finance experience within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Multi-property, cluster or group hotel experience.
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering skills.
- Experience working closely with Hotel General Managers.
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting and financial control expertise.
- A hands-on and commercially focused leadership style.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent.

Location: Central London with occasional travel to hotels.
Working pattern: Hybrid working, with approximately 2 days per week working from home and the remainder primarily in Central London.
