JWR is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Front of House Manager. As Front of House Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every guest receives a seamless and personalised experience from arrival through to departure.

The Role

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will lead the Front Office operation, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational excellence, and team engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring the Front Office, Reception, Guest Services and Nights teams
  • Delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and memorable guest experiences
  • Managing daily front office operations and ensuring service standards consistently exceed expectations
  • Driving upselling opportunities and maximising room revenue
  • Managing staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, training and development
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally and efficiently
  • Monitoring departmental budgets, labour costs and productivity
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, health & safety and brand standards
  • Working closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Revenue teams to ensure seamless operations

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:

  • Previous experience as a Front Office Manager, Front of House Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a quality hotel environment
  • Experience within luxury, lifestyle, boutique or premium branded hotels
  • A genuine passion for guest service and hospitality
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commercial awareness with experience driving guest satisfaction and revenue performance
  • Experience using hotel PMS systems such as Opera, Opera Cloud or similar
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
