The Role

As Operations Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving commercial performance across all departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of the hotel's strategic and financial objectives
  • Driving revenue growth and monitoring departmental performance against budgets and KPIs
  • Leading, coaching and developing Heads of Department to achieve operational excellence
  • Championing outstanding guest satisfaction and service delivery throughout the hotel
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and legislative requirements
  • Supporting recruitment, training and succession planning initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and guest experience
  • Taking a hands-on approach to leadership across all operational departments

Requirements

We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional with a proven background in hotel operations who is looking to progress towards a future General Manager position. You will have:

  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager or senior operational leader within a quality 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Strong knowledge of all hotel departments, particularly Food & Beverage operations
  • Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of hotel financial performance
  • Proven experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing business demands
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
