Your Role: As Quality Manager you will be responsible for site Quality compliance, all-encompassing COPQ, and clear direction and stewardship of the quality resource. The guidance of the wider business inclusive of all operational aspects to achieve all quality metrics and targets.

This position is accountable for scrap across site, total cost of quality, effective complaints resolution, guaranteeing accuracy of quality metrics/results against targets. You will be the site “Management Representative” and will be a member of the site Executive Leadership Team and Group Quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, audit and further develop the company Quality Management System: AS9100 & ISO9001 ensuring compliance.
  • Obtain ISO 19443 Nuclear approval for site and any new standards deemed necessary to support business strategic direction.
  • Ensure the total cost of quality is captured accurately regarding internal rework, remakes and over makes.
  • Lead and guarantee scrap reduction is a business priority by introducing scrap reduction initiatives to drive Quality to world class standards.
  • Ensure accurate reporting on scrap with a target improvement.
